Our Cruise

I know some of you have been waiting for pictures and details from our cruise. Brad and I finally went on a trip. We haven't been anywhere! It seems whenever we wanted to go either I was pregnant or we had a little one that we couldn't leave. Brad just graduated with his Masters in May and I surprised him with a cruise. It was fun to plan and arrange, but very hard to keep from him. I managed to do it though. He was very surprised to open it at his party. We left out of San Diego and went to Mexico for five days and then we spent two days in San Diego. What a TRIP! We started out in San Diego and went to a Padres game. I'm not in to baseball, but we had awesome seats and it made it lots funner. The next day Brad surprised me and got Keith Urban tickets (last minute). He said he had a big surprise for me and that I was going to love it. (For those of you who know me, I don't listen to country. In fact, I don't really like it at all) But it was cute that he did it and once we got to the concert I loved it. He is more of a rocker I think. One of the ports we stopped at was Cabo San Lucas, which was awesome. It doesn't port right to Cabo so you have to take a little boat and I got really sick on that boat. We had signed up for Snooba Diving, which is a mixture of scooba and snorkeling. Well, that didn't end up good, because it made me even sicker and it was scary to to breathe under water. They put a weight on you that slowly takes you down to the bottom. Brad got comfortable with it and loved it. I had to have a really cute guy come in and rescue me. Pretty embarrassing. I've never held vomit longer than I did when he was rescuing me. Pretty embarrassing! My favorite thing was when we went to Ensenada. I signed us up for a cooking class, which Brad was not excited about. We learned how to make guacomole, tostadas, and tamales. It was so fun. Brad even enjoyed it. Then we had a salsa dance class. Brad was so good at it, they made him get up in front of everyone and show them. It was awesome. The shopping there was great and I absoblutely loved watching Brad talk with the people in Spanish. The black ship in the pic is the "Black Pearl" from the movie Pirates of the Carribean. The orange restaraunt is where we took the cooking class. If you ever go to Mexico make sure you get some of their vanilla. It is so good to cook with. The food on the cruise was amazing. They fed you like a seven course meal every night. I loved it because we were able to get dressed up and have good food. The entertainment was awesome too. We took a couple dance classes. I think everyone should definately experience a cruise. They treat you like royalty! When we got back to San Diego we spent a day there and just went to some beaches and relaxed. It was so good to spend time with Brad. It seemed like before our cruise we had no time for each other. I'm in Young Womens and he's in Young Mens. He was taking night classes and I was running the kids from soccer to dance to gymnastics to ballet. I missed my kids so much. It was good to get back to them. Zack would not let me out of his sight for about a month. He's kind of a mama's boy! Anyway, here's some pics of us. Take Care
