Another thing I love about Fall is that is when I start to get in the mood to sew. I'm so thankful for a mom that sewed and taught me how to. I'm still learning but I love to sew and then see the final project. It's awesome. Over the weekend I made this little bag. I'm going to make each of my girls one to take to church. I figure if they all have their own little bag with their "keep me busy" things in it, it will make my sacrament a lot more enjoyable! This is all made of felt and very very easy. My girls love it and Zack wanted a bag also, but I told him his dad wouldn't approve of that and he needed to take his little NIKE back pack to church :)
Can I just mention I could never be a single mom. Brad has been working in New Mexico this whole week and I've realized how much he does do for our family. We miss him like crazy. It will be so good to see him tomorrow. It actually went pretty good. I didn't get my daily running in, which I can tell a big difference. It's amazing how much energy it gives me throughout the day. I played BUNKO last night with my group and we had a great time. I definately needed the girl time for a couple hours and it gave me more fuel to keep running. It was amazing, when I came the babysitter had ALL the kids asleep in bed. That has never happened. I will definately be getting her more often! Have you guys noticed that in this day and age babysitter don't keep or clean up your house? Maybe it's just in this ward. And I know I don't pay them to clean I pay them to babysit and I'd rather have them tending the kids than cleaning, but I remember always making sure the house was spotless when the parents came home. In fact, I'm pretty sure that one family would get me just to clean the house. Maybe we'll have to do a YW Mutal on babysitting.
It was so cute the other night. Zack didn't get his nap and he was so tired. We started eating dinner and he fell asleep about five minutes into it, but he kept eating. (He would never miss a meal, especially spagetti). He actually sat there sleeping and eating. It was so funny. I had to take pics and post them. He always keeps us laughing.

Oh, how cute. Your little boy is simply adorable. Babysitters are like that here too (Meridian). I think times have changed...I used to clean and do all sorts of stuff. I LOVE that bag you made. Did you make up the pattern? Do share! I can sew as long as I have a pattern to follow. You did a great job, your girls will love them.

That bag is so cute, I don't sew so maybe i should just have you make me one - JK. Anyways it's really cute though. Zack is so funny. Gharrett did that on Christmas, he was so tired he just fell asleep with his head almost in his plate. How cute!
Karri-
I saw your comment n Sally's blog. She is out of town for the weekend- so if you e-mail me so I can get your e-mail address. I'll send you out the topic this weekend for next Tuesday.
Sorry- I guess it would be helpful to have my address. It's marciealcorn@yahoo.com
Karri,
Great job on the bags for your girls! Very cute! You are such a great mom/homemaker/everything! I love the pictures of Zack falling asleep during dinner. That is so funny. My kids have never done that. I'm so glad Brad is coming home soon. It is so hard when they're gone! Great job enduring your week without him.
Hey I just saw in Marcie's email that you're doing the Tell All Tuesday, and you were the only one I didn't recognize so I linked over to check you out. Your blog is so cute! It will be fun to get to know you better. By the way--you are gorgeous! You have such a glamorous look, I'm jealous!

That is too funny that he fell asleep eating. As for babysitters. It seemed like they get paid 2 or 3 times what we did and there are only a few gals we've had who attempt to tidy. We have 40 YW in our ward and there are only 2 or 3 I would want to have babysit. A Babysitting class is a great idea - especially for beehives (train them young so they'll do it right).
