Ever since I was little I loved to watch my mom sew. Probably since the time I was 7 or 8 I wanted to be mom just so I could sew them clothes. My mom is very talented with sewing and I owe it all to her. She made all my girl's blessing dresses. A treasure forever. These mean so much to me and my girls.
My Nanny is very talented with knitting. She has knitted us sweaters, scarfs, Christmas stockings, you name it, she can knit it. Very very talented. She knitted this out fit when I was a baby.

She knitted all my girls one of these. Isn't she amazing?

So since my mom made all my girls' blessing dresses, I thought I would attempt to make Zack's blessing outfit. It actually turned out pretty well and he looked so handsome in it. This was probably my first "big project".

Brad's mom is also very talented when it comes to crocheting. She crocheted each of my kids a blanket before they were born. Definately keepsakes. She's also a great sewer and has made each of my girls a dress. So between my family, I have to try to keep up with all the talent here. It's definately a hobby that I love and hope to pass on to my girls.

Hello, What about me your big sis, remember the "cow" I taught you how to sew, well actually I read you the directions and then we figured it out together? O and then I did introduce you to stitching! :) Remember the funny Aprils fools joke I played on you? HAHA Then it came back to get me? Very funny!! I will laugh about that forever!
I took a sewing class in high school and my mom sews a lot but I wasn't given that talent or pactience. I guess that is why I have all boys so it isn't as fun to sew for them.
