So after another call today to see if everything was alright with me, I decided that I NEEDED to post. I wish I could say that I haven't been posting because I've been out of town or gone somewhere fun, but I can't. All I can say is that I've had a very busy summer. I can't beleive it's over and the kids all are back in school. Here are some highlights of my summer.
Zack's brithday was August 10. We celebrated it at the Riot Zone. He wanted cars for his birthday cake and was very upset when I couldn't get the red car red. It was a little too pinkish for him. He told me "no pink, pink for girls. Red car". I finally got it a little reder after dumping the whole bottle of food coloring in.
We also celebrated Ashlyn's birthday on July 25. We had a summer pool party for her just in our yard. We bought one of those big blue swimming pools this year and the kids have loved it. I can't beleive she's 5!
My grandparents came all the way from Nova Scotia this summer and spent a month. It had been three years seen I seen them last. A lot of my time, I spent with them up in Rexburg at my moms. It was so good to see them and have my kids spend some time with them. It seems like we always had things going on while they were here.
Then there was t-ball and softball. This was Ashlyn's first year playing and she didn't enjoy it as much I thought she would. She didn't really understand the concept and she was always running to get the ball even when she was on base and she never knew which base to run to, but she always had a big smile on her face. Hailee and Paige played softball this year, which they both loved and they are pretty good. I spent a lot of time at the field watching ball games

To respond to the comment you made on my blog, I am in cub scouts but the post you saw was from my brother in Arizona, he is in boy scouts. He is crazy to camp with no tents with all the snakes, lizards, scorpions & whatever else is out there. That's not for me:)
