We had a great Halloween this year. We went to a carnival last night for a couple hours and let the kids play games and then we went to Lesa's house for pizza and went Trick or Treating around her neighborhood. (they give out great things!)The part of LOVE about Halloween is watching the kids get so excited about all the candy they got. My cousin Bryan and his family were up and we had a great time visiting with them. They are leaving for West Virginia today! We didn't get home until about 10 and the kids are actually doing good this morning, except for Hailee. She definately takes after her mother and is NOT a morning person. At least I can relate to her and I understand. We had great parties this year and I made this video because I didn't want to post every picture. Most of these pictures are from the Sakota Family Party that my parents put on every year. My whole family comes and my dad ended up doing a spook alley this year in the shed. Yea, the shed that we think is haunted. Everybody homemakes their costumes. We all put a lot of time and effort into this party. Lesa always does amazing when it comes to her costumes. Enjoy!
On Monday Night, I did dinner in a pumpkin. I made a rice casserole dish and cooked it in a pumpkin. The kids thought it was so cool. We had minature pumpkins that I gutted out and we used them for the kids' bowls. They thought that was even cooler. One of the Kid's favorite dish is pork and seeds and my brother Brandon makes the BEST! We also made apple cider biscuits, which was a new recipe and is fabulous! We made them into a worm. Zack loved that! Later that night, we carved pumpkins. I loved watching the kids smile and laugh and have so much fun doing all this. They love when they can help me.
