Family Fun

It's been awhile since I've posted. I have been so crazy busy the last couple weeks. I promised myself I would take a minute and journal tonight. I'm so glad I"m getting it in. So what have I been busy with? Parties! Shopping! Family! Traditions! Not to mentioned that I was so happy we made it to the temple before Christmas. The kids had a babysitter every night last week. I felt bad leaving them, but promised them we would have a fun week this week. Brad is going to Las Vegas to some football bowl with a bunch of buddies on Friday and he won't be back til Sunday, so we HAD to get all the shopping done before. I think we're pretty much done and now I can spend time with the kids. We started making our Christmas treat plates for the neighbors and some cards to grandparents. My grandparents live in Nova Scotia and we don't get to see them very often. We had to make sure we got their package and cards all sent off. Here's the kids making their cards

We started making cookies and Zack took a tumble off the counter on the hard tile floor. His forhead blew up like a balloon right before my eyes! I was so scared and sorry for him.

He was so brave and tough. He hardly cried. He was only concerned about getting back to the cookie dough.

Here they are all having fun. See Zack in the back with the beater in his mouth!
I'm so thankful for kids. They make Christmas so much fun.
We had my family over on Sunday and look what the little boys did!

They took ALL the games out of the closet and were trying to hid on the shelves. Boys will be boys I guess. And I just have to mention that I'm so glad it's been snowing. I love it!

Oh, poor little Zack! OUCH. Have a fun week this week. It's kinda mean, but I have fun when Mike goes out of town for a few days--especially b/c for some reason I feel no inclination to make dinner! So feed your kids Lucky Charms every night and live it up!!!

Cute pictures. I love that they got all the games out. I can totally relate!

Poor Zack's head! That is scary when they get hurt and it swells so fast.

Looks like great cookie dough, and even greater family time!
